"They raise my auto insurance rates every few months with absolutely no notification. I contacted progressive and l can get my auto insurance for $20 a month less with a $500 deductible as opposed to the $1000 with State Farm. I had a homeowner's claim with them. They had all the communication with the contractor. Told the contractor what they would pay. Agreed on a price. Gave me the money that was agreed on. The contractor charged me over $800 above the agreed cost for things that were not provided. I reached out to State Farm and was told, Sorry not our problem. I now have a lien on my property. Totally disgusting experience. I will definitely be switching to progressive as soon as possible!"
"Christine we appreciate your feedback. While we have spent a tremendous amount of time communicating with our clients about the inflationary pressures driving up insurance costs for all carriers, we are not always successful in reaching folks, or our emails are not read. If your contractor agreed to the scope and pricing of your claim, to later decide to charge you more seems unethical and very unusual. Insurers will not increase claim payments simply by the demand of contractors, documentation is needed, and most ethical contractors will work with the homeowner based on what was approved by the insurance carrier. I would suggest reporting your contractor to the MN Dept of Labor and Industry."

"This office has terrible customer service. I called the office yesterday and requested that Chris contact the subrogation claim team on my behalf to share information regarding my claim. Basically she left a voicemail for the subrogation team to call me. Never followed up with me, never made contact with them. How is that customer service? I feel like this office could care less about me or my claim. As soon as this issue is resolved I will be finding a new agent. *Update - my claim was being closed due to lack of evidence. I literally had to find the Holiday gas station area manager (where my car was damaged in a car wash) and request that he send the video (showing the incident) to State Farm subrogation. If I hadn't followed up on my own claim I would be out my $500 deductable. It is unbelievable to me that I pay for service and yet had to do all the legwork otherwise I would have lost $500. Switching to Progressive - lots cheaper and better service."
